EBX Survival Guide: What You Should Know
How Housing Will Work On Site
85 lucky people (first come, first serve) will get their very own bed in the bunk rooms. You'll have to bring your own sheets and bedding and take a weekend break on privacy, but you'll have your own bed!. As you arrive on site you'll be able to opt yourself into a room of your choosing, of your chosen friends or into a non-specific room. There will also be rooms available with specific designations, such as rooms with agreements such as "no sexual contact," gender specific rooms, or other individual requests as they are asked for. Once everyone has arrived, every room will have a room meeting to consent on their own room's specific house agreements for the weekend. Trained facilitators will be available for any rooms in need of assistance in deciding upon their room agreements. Yay consensus, yay respecting our roommates, yay our own beds!!
Plugging Into EBX
This event isn't run by some huge production company; it is run and produced by a collective including you! Every single person who registers will work one volunteer shift during the event. You will get to choose where you plug in: working in the kitchen, building one of our structures, helping folks register and find their way around, creating a enchanted ambiance for the dances, supporting all our hard-working volunteers…whatever you decide, you’ll be helping to make the EBX magic happen. When you arrive at the event you will have a chance to pick how you want to plug-in and who you want to work with.

Packing List
- Camping Equipment and/or Bedding: if you rented a bed you'll just need sheets and pillow cases. If you didn't get a bed, you'll want to bring camping equipment to set up and adorne your mobile palace on the beautiful property!
- Sun screen and clothes to be in the sun or cold for much of the day and night. Temperatures at night could be chilly with sunny and hot days! I mean, we're in Spain!
- Snacks, If you buy meal shares we will feed you three meals a day plus snacks, (with vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and meat options). If, however, you have other allergies or dietary restrictions, it's probably a good idea to bring some of your own food regardless of whether you buy meal shares.
- Clothes to be screen printed. We will be offering custom-prints on any clothes you choose to bring. Clothing must be dropped off for screen printing on Friday and/or Saturday morning and will be available for pick-up Sunday afternoon. The inks will be black and white, so bring clothes that will show those colors well. Also keep in mind that textured fabric and seams are hard to print on and often produce less-than-ideal outcomes.
